Stamp a Faire Challenge #1

Well I went backwards making the cards but now I have put together my Challenge #1 for Papertrey Ink. Not my best. I used Gride Lines 2 and Warm Happiness stamp sets. Made the background with the Gride Line set and had the  coffee mug on hand.

Stamp-a-Faire #5

Here is my Challenge #5, which we had to use a shape to make a border. I looked and thought what could I use and found my 2008 Holiday Tag Collection. I spotted the snowflake tag circle. Wow, what a great border. Then I had some squares of Rustic Snowflake Paper and cut those out. Stamped the words in the squares from the stamp set. Simple but cute. I hope.

Stamp a Faire Challenge #6

Here is my Challenge #6 using Scattered Showers stamp set.  You had to use a cut out of a circle or square and attach some type of twine, ribbon or what ever came to mind. I used fun fur. A bit out there but I felt like it went with the colors. I added silver rhinestones to the umbrella.  Enjoy!

Stamp a Faire Challenge #8

So here is another card I put together for Papertrey Ink's challenge. You have to make a card that has been cut about an inch to put a border.

I used Father Knows Best set and paper from them also. You can see the border on the right. I really like this set. The tree can be used for any season.

Halloween Card ????

Okay, I know this is early but think about how cool it is in October !! ??? Right ??? Well Papertrey Ink is having a contest for their special stamp set given at their stamping weekend. So I needed to load the card to post.
One of my favorite stamp sets is the Friendship Jar set. Mish has made such a great grouping of stamp sets in this grouping. Go over there and see all of their sets. You will love them.

Once upon a Springtime frame......

Do you not just love this paper???? I have so fallen in love with this paper. They are my favorite colors so that could be alot of it. But I made another frame from copying Sherry Clever's. They turn out so nice.
So here she is:

I painted the frame a Stonewedge Green by Ceramcoat and then added the peach trip paper. Made the flowers and leaves from Tim Holtz dies. Green roses from Maya Road for some punch. Those fairys just had to be cut out and added to the frame.
I hope you enjoy.

I have linked up to Craft-O-Maniac's showcase-go and enjoy all the wonderful ideas:

Graphic 45 frame

I was checking out Walking on the Bad Side by Sherry Chever. She designs for Graphic45 and made a frame for the website. She did a fabulous job and I just had to try it ou. I ad the frame from Michael's, which I keep on hand, for these type of ideas. So here is mine from the Playtimes Past.

You need to head on over to Graphic45 or Sherry's site and see hers.

I have also found some neat things from the thrift stores lately, but have not posted my great finds. So here they are:

Is she not so cute? I so needed a new tape dispenser. I love cats.

I got this picture for the frame.

Another great picture for the frame and the inside is popped up and I will put something else over it.

I got 5 of these for 69 cents each.

I got this little guy to make my own topariy. While on transport home the base cracked away from the
top but has been fixed but not done yet.

I had been wanting this for awhile knowing that I could do something with it. So when Wizard of Oz came out with Graphic45 I knew this would be  neat. While on the way home I tore some of the paper off-BAD mistake. After sanding this area had to be sanded forever. LOL
This is the sanded portion of it.

This was a great find. I could not believe it was still sitting on the shelf. If weighs a ton. So pretty.
I bought these for products using vinyl.

I found two signs and sanded them down for vinyl, bird was painted and the frame is a nice size. That is my desk stuff in the background.

I hope you liked all the post. I have so much fun looking for new redo's. My other items will be done soon and I am even working on another frame like the oval one. So look soon for it to come.
